What’s Next for Bitcoin? Legendary Investor Assesses: “A Big Break is Imminent!”
Legendary hedge fund manager and CIO of Miller Value Partners, Bill Miller, predicts that Bitcoin will reach an all-time high this year.
Speaking to CNBC, Bill Miller stated that Bitcoin (BTC) is poised for a new surge. Miller said that Bitcoin’s technical structure has improved, making it possible for it to reach a new all-time high.
According to Miller, factors creating a positive backdrop for Bitcoin’s all-time high include changes in the regulatory environment in the US, greater Wall Street involvement in the cryptocurrency sector, and major traditional financial institutions establishing blockchain infrastructure.
“Bitcoin appears to be preparing for a technical rebound and there is a possibility of retesting its previous highs.”
Changes in the US regulatory environment and Wall Street’s entry into on-chain trading also support this bullish sentiment.
Miller considered the decline and mediocre performance in the final months of 2025 insignificant, given the inherent volatility of Bitcoin.
At this point, Miller noted that looking at the broader picture of BTC charts, BTC has never experienced losses for two consecutive years.
Miller concluded by noting that Bitcoin has formed a higher price floor compared to the spring of 2025.
“I don’t think Bitcoin’s 6% drop last year and its lagging behind gold is a huge problem considering how volatile BTC is.”
Geopolitical tensions have caused these declines. Therefore, it is necessary to look at the big and long-term picture, not just short-term movements.
On the contrary, all of this has had a very positive impact on Bitcoin, as it appears to have formed a base higher than its level in the spring of 2025.”
