Nikita Bier, X’s Product Leader and Solana ecosystem consultant, shared a graph showing the most searched Cashtags on the platform.
Data covering the period from December 1, 2025, to January 14, 2026, revealed that user interest was concentrated in both cryptocurrencies and publicly traded stocks in the US.
According to the shared data, the top 10 most searched cashtags on X are ranked as follows:
$IREN (IREN Limited – formerly Iris Energy), $TSLA (Tesla), $ASTS (AST SpaceMobile), $BTC (Bitcoin), $XRP (XRP), $GME (GameStop), $NBIS (Nebius Group – formerly Yandex), $OPEN (Opendoor), $ETH (Ethereum) and $ONDS (Ondas Holdings).
It is noteworthy that companies focused particularly on cryptocurrency mining, satellite communications, and artificial intelligence infrastructure are coming to the forefront.
Bier also announced four days ago that they are working on a “Smart Cashtag” feature. With the new feature, users will be able to specify exactly which asset or smart contract they are referring to when sharing a Cashtag. Users who tap on the Cashtag in their timeline will be able to access real-time price information and all posts related to the asset in a single screen.
