SpoonOS launches Web3‑Native Skills marketplace to accelerate composable AI

SpoonOS has launched a Web3 Skills marketplace alongside two community-facing initiatives: a Skill capture community campaign and a builders campaign featuring a US $5,000 rewards pool. The marketplace focuses on helping developers create, share, and reuse modular agent capabilities, with rewards for participation including $NFT badges on Neo X and potential $GAS-based rewards for standout contributors.

Designed to support composable AI agent development, the marketplace enables transparent attribution and community-driven ratings and reviews based on real-world usage. Developers can publish standalone “Skills” representing discrete capabilities – such as wallet operations or on-chain data queries – that can be reused and assembled into more complex agents, reducing duplicated effort and accelerating deployment.

SpoonOS refers to Skills as “the last mile” in modularizing AI for Web3. The team also shared plans for an agent marketplace where fully assembled agents built from existing Skills can be deployed and monetized.

Builders campaign offers $5,000 prize pool

The builders campaign targets developers and teams contributing high-quality Skills and improvements to the new marketplace. A US $5,000 pooled rewards fund will be distributed to early participants based on measurable impact, including usage metrics and community ratings.

The campaign is designed to support both depth and breadth of contribution. Developers who create widely adopted and well-reviewed components are eligible for larger shares of the pool. Verified contributors receive $NFT badges issued on Neo X, while exceptional contributions may also qualify for additional $GAS rewards.

Eligible submissions include new Skills, enhancements to existing components, bug fixes, documentation improvements, and other meaningful pull requests. A one-week review period precedes badge distribution, with on-chain credentials serving as eligibility indicators for future SpoonOS ecosystem rewards.

Community campaign introduces $NFT-based rewards

To encourage broader participation, SpoonOS also launched a Skill Capture campaign aimed at non-developers. Community members who engage in promotional and support-related activities can earn exclusive $NFT badges on Neo X.

Contributions such as promotion, engagement, and other community support actions are eligible for recognition, with NFTs serving as both social badges and eligibility indicators for future reward mechanisms. No technical skills or GitHub submissions are required.

By launching the marketplace alongside builder and community-focused campaigns, SpoonOS aims to foster early engagement and accelerate adoption of composable, agent-based applications in the Web3 ecosystem.
