With the annual slowdown in deliveries, the Cybercab and the self-driving technology have become increasingly important for Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) stock’s valuation, and the artificial intelligence (AI) of ChatGPT believes the vehicle could, upon a successful launch, indeed drive the equity higher.
Indeed, as seen from the vast difference in the market capitalization between Elon Musk’s electric vehicle (EV) maker and most other major car companies, the technological side of the business is a key element in the company’s story.
By 2026, some analysts have taken to believing that ‘FSD’ – the firm’s self-driving technology – accounts for as much as 80% of the TSLA stock price, while the growing number of alleged Cybercab activity has been steadily building up excitement among Tesla’s fanbase.
Under the circumstances and with hopes that both autonomous driving and autonomous taxis are right around the corner, Finbold decided to consult OpenAI’s flagship platform – ChatGPT – on how the EV maker’s equity might trade once the Cybercab becomes a reality in the streets.

Considering that the AI started its analysis by highlighting Tesla’s exceedingly high valuation, the slowdown in EV sales, and the reliance on ‘future narratives’ – ChatGPT explicitly named artificial intelligence, self-driving, and robotaxis – it came as little surprise that it opined that a successful and verifiable reveal would generate a powerful tailwind.
Indeed, the large language model (LLM) estimated that even such a preliminary move would bolster TSLA shares and help them, in the short-term, soar between 10% and 20%.
Considering that Tesla stock is trading at $366.84 after an 18.43% decline year-to-date (YTD), ChatGPT estimated it could find itself as high as $440 during the final stretch ahead of the full Cybercab launch.

As for the price following the actual launch – an event that would, according to the AI, do more to stabilize the gains that immediately trigger a major rally – OpenAI’s flagship platform estimated that $420 is a plausible target for TSLA shares.
Notably, considering the model estimated that a surge to $440 is in the cards once the existence of a fully operational Cybercab is proven, the $420 forecast appears to imply that the actual launch might lead to a downward correction, potentially reinforcing the claim that it would be ‘a narrative event’ and ‘not a revenue event’.
Expanding on the thesis, ChatGPT also reveals that it considers anything in the $400 to $440 range as within reason, but it also highlighted that the EV maker’s high valuation places a ceiling on any robotaxi rallies, at least in the short and mid-term.
