The Smarter Web Company PLC (AQUIS: SWC | OTCQB: TSWCF), a London-listed technology and bitcoin treasury firm, has announced the successful completion of a Placing and Subscription, raising a total of $10.7 million (£8.1 million).
The Placing, conducted with a well-known institutional investor, generated about $6.9 million (£5,250,000), while a Subscription with a high-net-worth individual investor contributed $3.8 million (£2,867,860), both at the closing bid price on August 1, 2025. The funds were raised through the issuance of 3,959,906 new ordinary shares at £2.05 per share. Admission of the new ordinary shares is expected to become effective at 08:00 on or around August 7, 2025, and the shares will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, entitling them to all dividends and distributions declared after the date of issue.
