SpaceX targets mid-June 2026 IPO at $1.75 trillion valuation, dwarfing every public offering in history

SpaceX is targeting a Nasdaq listing on June 12, 2026, under the ticker SPCX. The company is aiming for a valuation of approximately $1.75 trillion and a raise of roughly $75 billion, which would make it the largest IPO in history by a wide margin.
For context, the current record holder is Saudi Aramco, which raised $29.4 billion when it went public in 2019. SpaceX’s planned offering would surpass that by more than 2.5 times.
The road to listing
SpaceX filed a confidential draft S-1 with the SEC on April 1, 2026. Roadshow activities are planned for early June, setting up a tight timeline between investor pitches and the targeted listing date.
A $1.75 trillion valuation at IPO would immediately place SpaceX among the most valuable publicly traded companies on the planet. To put that number in perspective, it’s roughly in the neighborhood of companies like Meta and Berkshire Hathaway, firms that took decades of public market operations to reach those levels.
Anthropic looms behind SpaceX in the IPO queue
SpaceX isn’t the only tech giant eyeing the public markets. Anthropic, the AI company behind the Claude model family, is also preparing for a potential IPO as early as October 2026. The company is currently negotiating pre-IPO funding at valuations nearing $900 billion.
Together, the two companies represent a tech IPO wave that could push combined valuations well beyond $4 trillion.
For Anthropic, a near-$900 billion valuation would be remarkable for a company founded in 2021.
What this means for investors
Prediction markets are already active on the timing question, with participants wagering on whether SpaceX will actually debut before June 30, 2026. Some speculators are projecting that the closing market cap could exceed $1.8 trillion on day one, suggesting meaningful first-day pop expectations.
