Phantom Drops Monad Support to Integrate Robinhood Chain

On July 25, 2026 by voice

Recent strategic moves by the multichain wallet Phantom indicate a shift in resources toward networks with greater potential for real-world financial applications and tokenized assets.

Phantom Ends Support for Monad

Phantom has announced it will terminate support for Monad starting August 26, concluding an integration that lasted approximately nine months following the mainnet launch.

Phantom plans to end its support for Monad network on August 26th.

We’ll soon begin notifying Monad users in-app with links to support articles that share options to move or swap their Monad-native assets.

The company clarified that this change does not affect the ownership of user funds. As a non-custodial wallet, Phantom does not hold user assets; instead, they remain recorded on the blockchain and can be accessed through any compatible wallet. Over the coming weeks, the app will provide notifications and instructions to help users transition to alternative solutions.

Two Options for Users

Affected users have two primary paths to manage their assets before the deadline.

The first option is to import their seed phrase into another wallet that supports Monad, such as MetaMask or Rabby, allowing for uninterrupted use of the network. The second option allows users to swap their $MON tokens directly within Phantom for other assets, including Wrapped $MON within the Solana ecosystem.

According to the company, the decision stems from structural changes in Monad’s development rather than any security issues within the wallet itself.

Robinhood Chain Now Available on Phantom

Just one day before announcing the end of Monad support, Phantom revealed the integration of Robinhood Chain. After updating to the latest version of the app, users can now interact directly with this new Layer 2 network through the wallet interface.

Robinhood Chain is built using Arbitrum Orbit technology. It is fully Ethereum-compatible and utilizes ETH as the token for transaction fees.

Focus on Tokenized Assets

The new network was designed to bridge traditional financial markets with blockchain infrastructure. Robinhood is positioning this Layer 2 solution as a hub for tokenized stocks, real-world assets (RWA), and other financial instruments that can be traded on-chain.

This integration grants Phantom users direct access to this ecosystem without the need for manual network configuration or third-party applications.

Phantom Pivots Toward the Broader Multichain Ecosystem

The removal of Monad alongside the addition of Robinhood Chain suggests that Phantom is optimizing its supported networks based on their adoption and potential for real-world utility.

While the end of support might create short-term pressure on the $MON token, the integration of Robinhood Chain expands user access to modern infrastructure focused on the tokenization of traditional financial assets and the evolution of on-chain capital markets.
