Analysts Reveal Critical Levels for Bitcoin, Eyes on the $65,000 Range and the FED Meeting

On July 23, 2026 by voice

While Bitcoin has been fluctuating near the $65,000 level, market analysts have highlighted critical support and resistance levels that should be closely monitored in the short term.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, fell as low as $65,484 during the day, according to Coinbase and TradingView data. Thus, Bitcoin continues to trade approximately 50% below its all-time high of over $125,000 reached in October 2025.

As the market continues to search for direction, experts say that macroeconomic developments, as well as technical indicators, will be decisive in price movements.

Maxime Seiler, co-founder and CEO of STS Digital, stated that the $70,000 to $72,000 range is critical for an upward move by the end of the month. According to Seiler, the most important resistance to overcome in the first stage is in the $67,000-$68,000 range. The analyst noted that in a downward scenario, the $60,000 level remains the most important support point for investors.

Seiler also stated that the market’s focus is on the US Federal Reserve meeting to be held on July 28-29. According to the analyst, the interest rate decision and the messages from the Fed could be decisive in determining whether Bitcoin breaks above or below its current price range. In addition, whether fund inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs will continue is among the developments that need to be closely monitored.

Julio Moreno, Research Director at CryptoQuant, offered a similar assessment, stating that $64,000 represents strong support in the short term, while $72,000 is a significant resistance level. Moreno noted that these levels are based on on-chain cost data and stand out as reliable technical indicators in the current bear market.

Tim Enneking, Managing Partner of Psalion, stated that Bitcoin may have formed a strong base at the $60,000 level after months of volatility. However, Enneking added that the possibility of a final downturn similar to the 2022 bear market should not be entirely ruled out.

Analysts believe that if Bitcoin surpasses the $67,000 resistance level in the coming days, the upward trend could strengthen, but a loss of the $60,000 support level could lead to renewed selling pressure. Therefore, both technical levels and the messages from the Fed meeting are considered critical for the short-term direction of the cryptocurrency market.
