Countdown Begins in Bitcoin: Analyst Says “The Next 60 Days Could End the Bear Market,” Reveals Strongest Historical Date for the Bottom!

After reaching its peak of $126,000 in October, Bitcoin entered a bear market, falling to around $57,000 before continuing its sideways movement above $60,000.

While discussions continue about whether $BTC, which has been moving sideways between $60,000 and $65,000 for some time, has reached its bottom, one analyst pointed to October as a possible bottom.

Benjamin Cowen, a popular market analyst, stated in his latest YouTube analysis that Bitcoin has entered a critical period that could determine the ultimate direction of the current bear market, arguing that October is the strongest month for a potential bottom.

The analyst says that, from a Bitcoin perspective, the next 60 days could be crucial in understanding when the market reaches its bottom in this cycle.

The Similarities Between 2018 and 2022 Are Striking!

The analyst notes that the current market structure bears similarities to price movements between 2018 and 2022.

According to the analyst, in both cycles, $BTC lost value in May and June, then recovered in July, before facing renewed selling pressure in August and September.

In this context, a similar pattern is now being observed in Bitcoin: after the decline in May and June, there was a recovery in July.

According to the analyst, if historical trends are repeated in 2026, Bitcoin could initially fall from current levels to around $56,000, and if selling pressure intensifies, it could drop further to $50,000.

The Next 60 Days Are Critical for Bitcoin!

Analyst Cowen states that his 60-day warning for $BTC is based on a four-year cycle, adding that the next 60 days could determine the final course of the current bear market.

At this point, the analyst notes that Bitcoin’s previous two major cycle bottoms occurred approximately 1,432 and 1,436 days after the previous cycle bottoms.

By adapting historical cycle lows to the current cycle, the analyst notes that Bitcoin is currently at approximately day 1,360 of its previous cycle low.

In this context, the analyst states that with the addition of the next 60 days, this period will reach approximately 1,420 days, bringing the timing of previous cycle lows quite close to that of a potential bottom. The analyst also emphasizes that Bitcoin’s past major bear market lows were seen in January 2015, December 2018, and November 2022, and that the calendar is gradually shifting forward.

In this context, Cowen believes that October 2026 is a strong candidate for the bottom of the current cycle.

However, the analyst notes that these are merely predictions and that historical data and seasonal trends are not a definitive price indicator.
