CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju Explains Bitcoin Could Rise 3-5 Times in This Cycle! Here Are the Details

CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju said that Bitcoin (BTC) might appreciate by 3 to 5 times its value in the current bull cycle, rather than rising more than 10 times as in previous periods. Ki Young Ju also stated that any future bear market might be milder compared to previous periods.

Ki, in a post on X, stated that the growth of the Bitcoin market and the increasing share of institutional investors in the market have had an impact on volatility. According to the analyst, in the past, when Bitcoin had a smaller market capitalization and was largely reliant on individual investors, the market was more vulnerable to short-term speculative capital.

Ki stated that due to this structure, Bitcoin can experience sharp drops of up to 80% following strong bull market increases, but added that as the market matures over time, volatility in both upward and downward directions decreases.

Ki Young Ju stated that the maturation of the market could reduce the likelihood of a repeat of the extremely rapid price increases seen in past cycles, but also lower the risk of a sharp crash. He argued that this shift could make Bitcoin a more suitable asset for long-term capital rather than short-term investments.

The CEO of CryptoQuant also stated that if Bitcoin were to become a stable asset in the long term and gain sufficiently widespread use as a real currency, it could significantly change the global financial system. He added that the effects of such a transformation could go far beyond what is predicted today.
