Apex Fusion announced the launch of its NEXUS chain integration with Layerzero, enabling connections to more than 145 blockchain networks, including Solana and Ethereum-compatible ecosystems.

Apex Fusion Simplifies Omnichain Development With Layerzero

The collaboration positions Apex Fusion as the first ecosystem to unite Cardano’s UTxO liquidity with Ethereum’s EVM framework via Layerzero, forging a new bridge between historically separate blockchain systems.

Developers can now deploy omnichain applications (OApps) and tokens (OFTs) on NEXUS while reaching over 60 Layerzero-connected ecosystems without bespoke bridge integrations. This reduces friction, broadens access, and introduces native interoperability between EVM, Solana, and Cardano environments.

Christopher Greenwood, Chief Operating Officer at Apex Fusion Foundation, called the integration “a pivotal moment” for both Cardano and EVM communities, noting that VECTOR now serves as the default route for Cardano tokens.

Enterprises will also gain access to configurable DVN-based security for regulated applications and unified liquidity across multiple blockchains, simplifying cross-chain operations.

The release shared with Bitcoin.com News said that liquidity will be extended through Stargate and OFT mechanisms, with upcoming routes further linking VECTOR and NEXUS to bring Cardano-native assets into Layerzero.
