The health sciences company Prenetics Global Limited has announced an oversubscribed $48 million public equity offering, potentially reaching $216 million in total proceeds through warrant exercises, to fuel the global growth of its wellness brand IM8 and advance its bitcoin treasury initiative.

The Prenetics (Nasdaq: PRE) round, led by Dominari Securities, included high-profile investors such as Kraken, Bitdeer’s Jihan Wu, Exodus, American Ventures, DL Holdings, and XtalPi, along with world No. 1 tennis star Aryna Sabalenka and visionary investor Adrian Cheng.
Prenetics’ CEO Danny Yeung called the capital raise “a defining moment,” citing IM8’s swift ascent to $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within just 11 months of launch. The soccer legend David Beckham holds an equity stake in Prenetics and doubles as its global brand ambassador.
In the announcement, Yeung added that the company is now focusing exclusively on IM8’s “dual-engine” model—combining health optimization and disciplined bitcoin accumulation—while reviewing other business units for divestment. “Our goal is bold yet realistic: $1 billion in annual revenue and $1 billion in bitcoin holdings within five years,” Yeung said.
The release says IM8 has already delivered more than 12 million servings across 31 countries since its December 2024 debut. October revenue topped $8.6 million, representing an ARR run rate of about $103 million, with 80% of new orders coming from subscriptions.
Following the raise, Prenetics expects to hold $100 million in cash and 275 BTC, worth about $31 million as of Oct. 27, giving it roughly $131 million in total liquidity. Its bitcoin accumulation plan began Aug. 1 with daily 1 BTC purchases, highlighting its growing presence in corporate bitcoin adoption.
