Rumble adds Bitcoin wallet integration for streaming tips

Rumble, a video streaming platform, today launched limited testing of a non-custodial wallet feature that enables users to send Bitcoin and stablecoin tips directly within livestream chats and video-on-demand content.

The testing phase is currently available to Android users and supports tips in Bitcoin, Tether’s USDT stablecoin, and tokenized gold. The wallet integration allows creators to receive cryptocurrency donations on both live streams and recorded content.

Tether, which issues stablecoins and tokenized assets, backs Rumble’s new wallet system. The partnership enables the platform to process on-chain transactions for multiple digital assets beyond Bitcoin.

The wallet feature represents Rumble’s expansion into creator monetization through crypto assets, offering an alternative to traditional payment methods for content creators on the platform.
