Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Invest and one of the biggest Bitcoin bulls, has made new statements.
Cathie Wood, who spoke highly of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL), identified BTC, ETH, and SOL as the best cryptocurrencies for the next five years.
According to Wood, BTC, ETH, and SOL are poised to dominate the next phase of cryptocurrency growth. At this point, Wood argues that as the market evolves, these three assets are not merely speculative investments but the cornerstones of the digital financial ecosystem.
In a recent interview, Cathie Wood stated that this prediction regarding BTC, ETH, and SOL is based on institutional adoption and their macroeconomic adjustment.
Wood ranked Bitcoin first due to its liquidity and institutional adoption, describing BTC as transforming into a global monetary system and serving as the first gateway for institutional investors to enter the crypto asset market.
Wood believes that Bitcoin, due to its fixed supply and strong decentralization, has proven itself as a new global store of value, going beyond its status as digital gold.
Wood, placing Ethereum in second place due to its growth and institutional development coming from Layer 2, described ETH as an infrastructure layer for institutions.
The renowned figure, stating that Ethereum’s strength lies in its developer ecosystem and scalability innovations, said the following about Ethereum:
“ETH is a fundamental platform for financial institutions and companies to create tokenizations, smart contracts, stablecoins, etc. In this context, Ethereum’s role as a foundation connecting traditional finance with digital assets is strengthening.”
Wood, who placed Solana in third place, noted that SOL received praise for its speed and user-centricity. However, Wood added that Solana requires deeper enterprise integration for sustainable growth.
“Solana, with its fast transaction speeds and low fees, is well-suited for the widespread adoption of popular applications such as payments, games, and social apps. However, Solana needs deeper enterprise support to fully realize its potential.”
