BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, one of the most important names in the cryptocurrency market, said that Bitcoin could reach $250,000 by the end of the year.

Speaking at the KBW 2025 Blockchain Conference, Hayes said there is a strong possibility that BTC could rise to $250,000 by the end of the year as the global money supply increases.

The famous name suggested that interesting market developments could emerge between the end of the third quarter and the beginning of the fourth quarter, and these could push BTC to new heights.

Hayes attributed Bitcoin’s potential rally to the Treasury’s anticipated increase in money supply and the Fed’s expected interest rate cuts. He said the Treasury is planning an expansionary foreign exchange policy, and the Fed is expected to implement a series of ongoing interest rate cuts.

Hayes emphasized that these factors combined with inflationary pressures could drive investors towards Bitcoin, which has a limited supply of 21 million coins.

Arthur Hayes recently argued that US President Donald Trump’s influence on Fed policy could prolong the bullish cycle.

The famous name stated that Trump would appoint people who support his policies to the Fed board in the future and would ultimately try to print more money to ensure economic expansion.

Hayes ultimately argued that Trump’s proposed change at the Fed could lead to more aggressive money-printing policies, further increasing liquidity and benefiting riskier assets like Bitcoin.

In his previous statements, Hayes predicted that Bitcoin would reach $250,000 by the end of 2025, while Ethereum would shake up the market and reach $10,000.
