Bull Wallet Launches Worldwide as Privacy-Focused Bitcoin Lightning Mobile App
Bull Wallet, a self-custodial, bitcoin-only mobile wallet emphasizing privacy and low-fee payments, has launched worldwide on iOS and Android, the developer announced.
The app combines onchain bitcoin, Lightning Network and Liquid support with non‑custodial atomic swaps (using Boltz) to let users send and receive across networks, includes autoswap to move Liquid funds onchain, and offers features such as BIP39 mnemonics, SegWit descriptor‑based accounts, coin selection, watch‑only imports, and optional connection to a personal node.
Positioned for both cypherpunks and newcomers, Bull is open‑source with reproducible builds planned, and prioritizes privacy with encrypted secrets, a secure keyboard, no push notifications or IP tracking, PayJoin support and confidential Liquid UTXOs. The app already supports Coldcard hardware wallets and promises further hardware integrations, multisig/miniscript, LN addresses, silent payments and other upgrades. Android users can optionally connect to the native Bull Bitcoin exchange.
